Hotel CRM
A hotel CRM (customer relationship management system) stores guest profiles, stay history, preferences and consents, and helps the hotel personalise service and marketing to bring guests back.

The PMS knows who is staying tonight; a CRM remembers who the guest is across stays. It combines data from bookings, surveys and communication to build a profile: favourite room type, dietary needs, birthday, how often they visit. The hotel uses it to personalise the welcome and send relevant offers, within data protection rules (UK GDPR).
How it works in practice
Example: a guest who stayed twice at a hotel in Edinburgh always asked for a quiet room and oat milk at breakfast. Before the third visit, the CRM flags these preferences, reception assigns a quiet room, and the guest receives an email with a spa offer before arrival.
How technology helps
hotelspot is not a CRM. Guest data collected by hotelspot belongs to the hotel and is not shared with third parties, and during the stay the hotel can reach guests through the guest app and push notifications.
